La Flèche, France
 The Town of La Flèche lies in the historical and popular holiday area of the Loir Valley. Note that this not the better known Loire, although that is not far away. La Flèche is 26 miles (42 km) south west of Le Mans and a half day drive from the ferry ports of Le Havre, Caen and Cherbourg. The town has a population of some 20,000. It developed around the riverside site of the XI century castle where the Town Hall now stands and centres on the prestigious and splendid Prytanée military academy.
